Your Path to Wellness
A New Era in Breathing, Sleeping, and Growing Well with Vivos®
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) affects over one billion people globally—and Vivos® is on a mission to change that. At Epic Dentistry, we’ve been proud to stand alongside that mission from the very beginning.
As a founding member of the Vivos Clinical Advisory Board, Dr. Caulfield has been using the Vivos system for more than a decade to help patients breathe easier, sleep deeper, and experience life-changing relief from TMJ symptoms and sleep-disordered breathing.
Treat the root cause, not just the symptoms
Unlike traditional sleep appliances that manage symptoms, the Vivos system is designed to correct the underlying structural issue, potentially eliminating the need for CPAP or lifelong appliance use. The result? Better breathing, better health, and better sleep—now and for years to come.
What to Expect: Your Journey With Epic
At your consultation, Dr. Caulfield will take the time to listen to your concerns—whether you’re dealing with snoring, daytime fatigue, jaw pain, or developmental concerns in a child. Using advanced diagnostic tools including 3D CBCT imaging, airway volume scans, and muscle/jaw tracking, he’ll evaluate the underlying causes of your symptoms.
This in-depth airway and functional analysis allows us to look beyond surface issues like crowded teeth or sleep disturbances and identify whether your concerns are rooted in jaw structure, airway obstruction, or sleep dysfunction.
If Vivos treatment is right for you, Dr. Caulfield will design a customized care plan that selects the most appropriate appliance—whether that’s for adult airway remodeling, pediatric growth guidance, or mandibular advancement. Each plan is designed to fit your age, condition, goals, and lifestyle.
Personalized & Comprehensive Care
As you progress through treatment, Dr. Caulfield will:
- Track progress using regular scans and imaging
- Monitor changes in airway space and jaw position
- Make appliance adjustments to guide development effectively
- Support you with guidance on oral function, myofunctional habits, and sleep hygiene
- Collaborate with your medical providers if needed (especially in cases of sleep apnea or chronic pain)
Throughout the process, our team is here to ensure your treatment is
comfortable, effective, and empowering. Most patients see measurable changes in
airway volume, facial balance, and symptom relief within months, with full treatment typically lasting 18–24 months.
More Than One Appliance—A Full Spectrum of Care
Vivos has evolved far beyond a single appliance. Today, it offers a full range of non-surgical, custom-designed oral appliances to support proper growth, airway health, and sleep—many of which stimulate the body’s natural ability to reshape the jaws, expand the airway, and correct oral function.
🔹 Care Appliances
These include the well-known DNA®, mRNA®, and mmRNA + Nasal Appliance (NA)—designed to guide adult bone remodeling and improve both bite and breathing.
🔹 Guided Growth & Development
Early intervention appliances like the Starter (ages 2–4) and pediatric jaw expanders gently support facial development and airway formation during critical growth stages.
🔹 Sleep & Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs)
Devices like Versa™ and Rescue™ offer an alternative to CPAP for patients with sleep apnea or snoring, repositioning the jaw to keep the airway open at night.
🔹 TMD, Migraine & Nasal Dilation Appliances
Tailored to help those struggling with jaw pain, facial tension, or nasal obstruction, these appliances bring comfort and relief to patients with complex conditions.
