When To Seek Emergency Dental Care
If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies as an emergency, don’t wait—call us. In general, seek immediate care for any of the following:
🦷 Toothache
Pain is a signal that something is wrong. Whether it’s a sign of decay, infection, or trauma, early treatment can prevent complications. Call as soon as discomfort starts.
🦷 Chipped, Cracked, or Broken Tooth
Rinse your mouth with warm water, apply a cold compress, and bring any tooth fragments in wet gauze or a damp paper towel. Prompt care can often save the tooth and restore your smile.
🦷 Knocked-Out or Loose Tooth
If your tooth has been knocked out, gently place it back in the socket if possible. Otherwise, hold it in your cheek or a container of milk and get to the dentist immediately. Time is critical—within 30 minutes is best.
🦷 Broken Jaw
Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and go to the nearest emergency center or call us immediately. Jaw fractures require urgent attention.
🦷 Bitten Lip or Tongue
Apply pressure and a cold compress. If bleeding is heavy or won’t stop, seek immediate dental or medical care.
